Bye Bye Adbrite
Well, in our never-ending evolution of ad types, we have had to move Adbrite to the side. I have removed almost all of our ads from our site. It seemed that their biggest advertiser for us was a men’s online magazine, and the swimsuit pictures had offended several people. We will be looking at linkworth to take it’s place, but that’s a whole different story.
No slight on Adbrite, they just weren’t for us. They do have a competing product for Kontera and we may test it out, as Kontera seems to be having a slow-down effect on our blogs currently. Maybe it’s just growing pains, but that, too, is another story.

AdBrite makes it easy to remove any ads from your site!
1) Go to www.adbrite.com
2) Click “For Publishers” tab
3) Click “Statistics”
4) Click “Ad stats”
Check which ad(s) you want to remove and click “Reject.”
Rock on,

Kontera and Adbrite are great companies. Nevertheless, if you are looking to diversify your payout, you should check us out here at Linkworth. We have some products that would work well with your website..one being LinkPost. Let mek now if you have any questions:)

Right, as I mentioned in the post, we are currently looking at linkworth. Looks like we just need Kontera to chime in to make sure we get everyone involved to comment.
As a side note, we have purchased some ads on Adbrite from other sites. Although it didn’t really pay for us as a publisher, we still see the potential in using the advertisers side. We are running a banner ad and a text-link. I will also keep you informed on this as well.

Hi there Kurt, would love to get your thoughts on a new ad technology I am working on. It’s always useful to get feedback from people who’ve experimented with a variety of products. Could you drop me an email: adam at adroll. com?

Personally I love adbrite. They are the best for cpm for my website. I am making about ~$2 a day on my network of sites. Its way less than adsense but hey its extra income
I really like how you can reject ads

Another site that I am trying at the moment is something called www.widgetbucks.com!
They’re still new, so I’m not sure if they’re better than the others but I’m personally giving it a shot.
Google is great, but I find it too easy to be banned because of another user.
